Ten companies from BiH are about to start working with companies from Germany, and their first steps towards establishing co-operation were made at a meeting that took place in Prague.

A total of 10 companies from BiH qualified for the meeting in Prague, and they are engaged in metal processing and some of them are automotive suppliers. These are also the areas in which companies in BiH have comparative advantages on the market.

“It is very important to emphasize that German companies conducted selection on the basis of qualitative criteria. We can see that companies from BiH are well-developed, regardless of the region they are coming from and despite the difficult framework conditions for their business. Moreover, we can see that they are competitive on the international market as well,” as said from the Representative Office of German Economy in BiH.

“German companies provide important knowledge transfer and they are ready to help in the development of local suppliers. In that way, German companies are bringing EU standards closer to local companies and further develop them. This often results in long-term partnerships. Therefore, the cooperation is deepening, and the relationship between them stops being exclusively commercial,” as said from the Representative Office.

Cooperation between the German and companies from BiH has a great importance for the exchange of goods between the two countries.
