The association Pomozi.ba announced that with the help of BiH citizens, companies and institutions provided humanitarian aid to the Palestinians, which was sent from Cairo to Gaza last night.

The first part of a total of 10 trucks with food and water left Cairo last night for the border with Palestine. It is about humanitarian aid worth almost 350,000 BAM, which is sent to the residents of Gaza by the Association Pomozi.ba.

“This is the result of our work on the ground over the past month, with many complications, given the state of war and the closure of the Rafah border. Our team has been trying all the time to approach the border and send trucks to Gaza, but until this moment we have not succeeded,” they say from the association Pomozi.ba, adding that they are sending 10 tow trucks to the Gaza Strip in cooperation with the organization Al Khidmat Europe.

Earlier, the Association Pomozi.ba donated 325,000 BAM through three partner organizations Rahma Austria, Swiss Barakah Charity and NATUF for Environment and Community Development, and from that amount, aid is constantly distributed in the southern part of the Gaza Strip in the form of food, water and medical supplies.

“So, so far, we have sent aid with a total value of almost 675,000 BAM, and we would not have succeeded without the support of BiH citizens, numerous companies and institutions, which in the past period donated about 1.8 million BAM to our Association to help the people of Palestine. On this occasion, we once again thank them from the bottom of our hearts, and with their support we plan to continue sending aid to Gaza continuously,” Pomozi.ba points out.

The action to help the people of Palestine still remains open. Anyone who wants to make monetary donations can pay via the web platform http://www.pomoziba.org, bank and PayPal accounts of the Association, and by calling the telephone number 17006, available to all telephone numbers in BiH. 2 BAM is donated to operators.
