On Tuesday, the 31st anniversary of the crime against the Croats in Trusina was marked in the organization of the associations stemming from the past war in the Municipality of Konjic.

At 10 a.m., the laying of wreaths and prayer in front of the memorial in Trusina happened, and at 11 a.m., Don Marin Marić lead the funeral mass in the church of St. Ante in Žitače, the organizers announced.

Members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the early morning hours of April 16, 1993 in Trusina killed 22 Croats, of which 18 were civilians and 4 were captured members of the HVO.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sentenced five people to a total of 55 and a half years in prison for the crimes committed in this village, and the perpetrators were members of the “Zulfikar” military unit of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
