An earthquake with a magnitude of 2.4 on the Richter scale was registered in the Banja Luka area.
The earthquake was located by the network of seismological stations of the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute at 47 minutes after midnight, the Institute announced.
The estimated intensity of the earthquake in the epicentral zone was three to four degrees on the Mercalli scale.
An earthquake of this intensity cannot cause damage to buildings, and the population can feel it in the epicentral zone and beyond.
