Members of the Republika Srpska Helicopter Service yesterday transported a sixty-two-year-old patient from Banja Luka to Belgrade, which is the 44th air medical transport this year, said Boban Kusturic, senior director of this service.

Kusturic explained that it was the transport of patient Z.L. (62), who was referred to the Clinic for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery of the Clinical Center of Serbia for further surgical treatment due to an aneurysm of the thoracic aorta.

“The air medical transport was carried out based on the successful coordination of the medical staff from the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska and the clinic in Belgrade, and the aviation-technical staff of the Helicopter Service of the Republika Srpska,” said Kusturic.

The transport was carried out in the afternoon.
