The 61st Ilidza Folk Music Festival begins Tonight

The 61st edition of the Ilidža Folk Music Festival, the oldest and most important festival of this genre in the region, begins tonight at the Ilidža Summer Stage. The main media sponsor of the Festival is BHRT, and it is being implemented in cooperation with the Ilidža Municipality. Watch the Ilidža Folk Music Festival live on BHRT, tonight and tomorrow from 8:00 PM.

The first night of the festival is traditionally competitive, while the second, on August 26, will be of a revue nature, with performances by big names in folk music.

A total of 80 applications were received for this year’s Competition for New Compositions, and the expert selection committee has chosen 15 compositions to be performed on the Competition Night.

This is the order of songs and competitors in the first competition night of the Ilidža Folk Music Festival 2025:

1. Day Two – Aldijana Tuzlak
2. So that the nights would be – Alem Kadić
3. Karanfil – Maja Ba Tomić
4. Where have you been, my son Sajo – Pavao Anić
5. Daleko – Miloš Simić Simke
6. Mother knows – Amna Keskin
7. When the golden evening falls – Amela Osmanović Amelli
8. There is no summer without you – Selver Adžem
9. Secrets of Ilidža – Lepa Đorđević and Ferid Avdić
10. Srna – Saša Lazarević Kudra
11. Safir-kana – Siniša Biško
12. I lost everything – Vila Pilafova
13. I’m afraid of old age – Kemal Hasić
14. Nightingale sings in the middle of Sarajevo – Jasmin Burek
15. Honey and milk – Marina Stefanov

The revue evening will be in the spirit and tradition of the Ilidža Festival, with great hits by famous performers folk music. Ana Bekuta, Muharem Serbezovski, Nihad Alibegović, Ferid Avdić, Hanka Paldum, Nedeljko Bilkić, Enes Begović, Semir Cerić Koke, Rizo Hamidović and Slađana Mandić are some of the famous musical names who will perform on Tuesday at the review evening of the Ilidža Folk Music Festival 2025.
