The Agreement between Gazprom and Energoinvest on Gas Supply expires today

Today, the current agreement between Russia’s Gazprom Export and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) Energoinvest on gas supply expires.

The last Annex to the existing Gas Supply Agreement for the Federation of BiH (FBiH) expires today (June 1st). “Talks on the extension of the contract were initiated even earlier, and we expect the finalization of all activities in the next few days,” said Energoinvest d.d. Sarajevo.

They added that Gazprom did not set any additional conditions.

The company emphasized that the price of gas is determined quarterly, four times a year, so it will not be changed until July 1st this year.

”We do not know what the price will be after that and we do not want to speculate. But given the complete situation on the world market, the growth of inflation worldwide, it would not be a surprise if the price of gas rises in the third quarter of 2022,” they added from Energoinvest.

The company pointed out that it will inform the public about all relevant data when that data becomes available.
