The Air in Sarajevo is very unhealthy

The air in Sarajevo this morning was characterized as very unhealthy, it was announced on the website “Zrak.ekokaacija”.

The air quality index in Sarajevo is 227, which is why people with respiratory diseases, such as asthma, may experience an increase in symptoms.

Increased negative consequences for the respiratory organs of the entire population are possible, and it is recommended to avoid greater exertion while outdoors.

People with lung and heart diseases, pregnant women, children and the elderly must avoid any activities while outdoors.

The air is unhealthy in Ilijaš, Zenica, Jajce, Visoko, Travnik and Kakanj, while in Tuzla and Vogošća it is characterized as unhealthy for sensitive groups.

The measurement at 7:00 a.m. showed that the air quality in Bihać is moderately polluted, while in Mostar it is satisfactory.

The air quality index value from zero to 50 is good, from 51 to 100 moderately polluted, from 101 to 150 unhealthy for sensitive population groups, from 151 to 200 unhealthy, from 201 to 300 very unhealthy and more than 300 dangerous for health.
