The Arrangement of the Stojcevac Picnic Area continued

The renovation of the Stojcevac picnic site in Ilidza continued, as part of which a wooden footpath was built next to the lake.

The wooden structure is made in such a way as to avoid its flooding due to rain. It was built between trees and green areas. The construction of the track is part of the plan for the development of Stojcevac, which has been a neglected area for years.

The renovation began in the spring of this year, and includes, among other things, the construction of walkways, landscaping of the lake, renovation of the playground that will be suitable for children with developmental difficulties, renovation of tennis and basketball courts, and installation of fitness equipment.

Earlier, lighting was installed, new asphalt was laid on the access roads, benches were installed, trash cans were installed, and the green area was arranged.

It was announced that the devastated Tito’s villa will be physically fenced off in order to prevent entry into it.
The authorities are still considering how to solve the grilling issue. It is up to the cantonal authorities to decide whether an entrance fee will be charged, as is the case at some other picnic spots in Sarajevo Canton.

Installation of video surveillance is also planned. The works are carried out in stages, Klix.ba reports.
