The last night in 2012 was marked with a spectacular concert of the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra which was held at the National Theater Sarajevo.
The audience enjoyed in the charming and light program, popular waltzes, and overtures. Those who attended this event will surely not forget the amazing performance of Maria Lyudko. Hiran Yasushi was also awarded with great applause for his performance of the aria ”Figaro”. A clarinet player Georges Devdariani also presented himself for the first time to the Sarajevo audience and performed ”The Nightingale” and ”Parto, parto”.
The biggest surprise of the evening was the overture from the opera ” William Tell” by Rossini, which was performed by the orchestra. In the end, with Strauss’ ”Radetzky Marsch” the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra wished a happy New Year 2013 in which they will celebrate their 90th anniversary.
