The average Monthly Gross Salary per Employee in the FBiH?

The average monthly paid net salary per employee for September 2025 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) amounted to 1.603 BAM and is nominally higher by 0.5 percent, and really by 0.3 percent, compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average paid net salary per employee for September 2025 is nominally higher by 17.1 percent, and really higher by 12.8 percent.

In September, compared to August 2025, the biggest increase in the average monthly paid net salary was recorded in the activities: agriculture, forestry and fishing by 2.9 percent, production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 2.2 percent, and health and social care activities by 1.8 percent, according to the data of the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

At the same time, the biggest decrease in the average monthly paid net salary was recorded in the following activities: financial activities and insurance activities by 3.1 percent, professional, scientific, and technical activities by 0.7 percent, and the activities of water supply, removal of wastewater, waste management, and environmental remediation activities by 0.4 percent.

The average monthly gross salary per employee for September 2025 in the FBiH amounted to 2.502 BAM and is nominally higher by 0.6 percent, and really higher by 0.4 percent, compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average gross salary per employee for September 2025 is nominally higher by 17.2 percent, and really higher by 12.9 percent.
