The average net Salary in BiH amounts to 1,315 BAM

The average monthly net salary paid in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in February amounted to 1,315 BAM and is nominally lower by 1.7 percent, and in real terms by 2.3 percent, than the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average monthly net salary paid per employee for February is nominally higher by 10.2 percent, and in real terms by nine percent, the Federal Bureau of Statistics announced.

The largest decrease in the average monthly net salary paid in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in February compared to January was recorded in the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 7.6 percent, and in health and social care by seven percent, as well as in arts, entertainment and recreation by 4.3 percent.

At the same time, the largest increase in the average monthly paid net salary was recorded in public administration and defense, and mandatory social insurance by 1.7 percent, followed by agriculture, forestry and fishing by 0.7 percent, and financial and insurance activities by 0.4 percent.
