The average retail price of diesel fuel in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has increased by 0.29 BAM per liter since the beginning of July, while the price of Super 95 gasoline is higher by 0.04 BAM per liter, the Federal Ministry of Trade announced.

According to the Ministry, on July 23, the average price of diesel BAS EN 590 + A1:2018 was 0.29 BAM per liter higher than on July 1, while the average price of Super 95 BAS EN 228 + A1:2018 gasoline increased by 0.04 BAM per liter in the same period.

The Ministry states that gas stations submit notifications about changes in prices and margins in order to monitor price movements in the market, with prices being able to change once every 24 hours, and the new prices are valid from 00.01 hours the following day.

From July 1 to 22, a total of 4,174 forms on price and margin changes were recorded, of which 2,831 related to diesel fuel and 1,343 to Super 95 gasoline.

The Ministry reminds that since June 20, the decision of the Government of the Federation of BiH has been in force, which limits the maximum wholesale margin to 0.06 BAM per liter and the retail margin to 0.25 BAM per liter for non-additive petroleum fuels.

They also state that federal and cantonal market inspectors are continuously monitoring the implementation of the decision, with special emphasis on controlling the formation of wholesale and retail fuel prices.

The Federal Ministry of Trade emphasizes that citizens can monitor information on fuel prices at gas stations in the Federation of BiH via the mobile application “FMT FBiH Oil Info”, which also allows reporting of observed irregularities at gas stations.
