During the last two nights of Ballet Fest Sarajevo, on 27th and 28th September at the National Theatre the ballet gala concerts of National Theatre of Opera and Ballet Ekatarinburg from Russia will take place. It will be a celebration of dance, knowledge of ballet techniques and arts.
The National Theater of Opera and Ballet of Ekaterinburg is one of the oldest theaters in Russia and its opening season dates back to 1912. Ekaterinburg Ballet troupe was formed a little later, after opera. The first ballet production ‘The Magic Flute’ of R. Drigo is performed in February 1914.
The Ballet Gala Concert of National Theater of Opera and Ballet Ekatarinburg is the opportunity to see parts of the world’s most famous ballet heritage, classical and contemporary ballet, an expression of the world’s leading choreographers and composers.
