The Ministers adopted a declaration endorsing the rationalization and strengthening of coordination between existing platforms for cooperation at the level of ministries, recognizing the important role of culture and art in education, supporting the adoption of state strategic documents in the area of cultural and arts education in accordance with relevant international standards and best practices, and reiterating the strong commitment of regional cooperation with emphasis on establishing coordinated regional policies and appropriate priority actions.

Nović said that thanks to the Ljubljana process the European Commission in BiH supports big projects such as the renovation of the building in Sarajevo and in Novi Grad, restoration of cultural heritage sites in Stolac, and the restoration of the fortress citadel in Banja Luka.

“Works on rebuilding the hall are in the final stages, and works on the renovation of the fortress citadel in Banja Luka began 10 days ago. We thank the European Commission for its support of these projects, but we also use the opportunity to express the need to invest additional efforts so that all projects that have started be fully realized’’, said Nović.

Nović will attend the cultural part of the program with the organization of the Forum of Slavic Culture, and which is dedicated to the 1150 years from the arrival of Cyril and Methodius to Great Moravia.

He will also participate in the work of the Ministerial Conference of the Forum of Slavic Culture with the topic “Impact of Information Technology on Mobility of Cultural Politics in the Slavic World”.
