At today’s extraordinary session, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina established the Draft Law on the budget of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the international obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2024.
The proposal will be submitted to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH for adoption according to the urgent procedure.
The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina should, within 15 days at the latest, in cooperation with other competent bodies and institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, submit to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina complete information on the reasons for non-fulfillment of the obligations established by law and other regulations in the procedures for drafting and adopting the law on the budget of Bosnia’s institutions and Herzegovina and the international obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2024.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina particularly requests the identification of responsible institutions and possibly individuals for the obvious disregard of legally prescribed deadlines and non-compliance with legally prescribed procedures, necessary for the timely adoption of the law on the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina as one of the most important laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
