The BiH Presidency sent Congratulations on the Occasion of Hanukkah

Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent their congratulations on the occasion of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah to the President of the Jewish Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jakob Finci, and to all Jews in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, emphasized his respect for the rich tradition and significant contribution of the Jewish Community to the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina society, emphasizing that the holidays remind us of the importance of togetherness, mutual respect and humanity. He wished that the days of Hanukkah would be filled with peace, good health and family warmth.

In his congratulatory message, Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, emphasized that Hanukkah, as a symbol of hope and perseverance, reminds us of the universal values ​​of peace, tolerance and mutual respect, which are deeply embedded in the multiethnic and multicultural being of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also emphasized that members of the Jewish Community are an inseparable part of the history and rich cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović sent sincere congratulations to all Jews and Jewish municipalities in BiH, saying that Hanukkah, as a holiday of light, faith and perseverance, reminds of the permanent values ​​of freedom, hope and togetherness, and that the light of Hanukkah candles brings warmth and encouragement to the homes of believers.
