The Body of a disappeared Safet Papic was found in Sarajevo

The body of Safet Papić, whose disappearance was reported last night, was found today after a search by the Mountain Rescue Service of Sarajevo’s Novi Grad municipality.

The service announced that they are suspending the search for the missing person whose initials are S.P., which was launched the previous night at 11:45 p.m. by family members via the Operation Center of Civil Protection of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo.

“Today we received information at 11:15 a.m. from the duty police officer of the Novo Sarajevo Police Department about the discovery of the lifeless body of a missing person,” the announcement stated.

Papić was last seen in the Buća Potok neighborhood in Sarajevo.
