The body of a Slovenian citizen, who was searched for by the Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) from Mostar, was found at the location of Brasina, on Mount Velez, the GSS stated today.

From this service, they stated that their teams found the dead M.D. from Celje, this morning at 8:30 a.m., shortly after leaving the field.

The body was found in a tunnel, in a former military facility.

Yesterday, the police found her Skoda car on Mount Velez, which she used to drive to the area after her mother alerted the police in Mostar.

The mother told them that she last spoke to her daughter on the phone on Wednesday, August 10, when she told her that she was on Mount Velez, after which she lost contact with her.

M.D. was also on Velež in February, when she was rescued from the deep snow at the top of Brasina by the teams of GSS Mostar.
