The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced the new results of the early elections for the president of Republika Srpska, according to which Branko Blanuša, the SDS candidate, has 201,387 votes, and SNSD candidate Siniša Karan has 195,686 votes.

The CEC changed the data due to the repetition of early elections for the president of the Republic of Srpska at 136 polling stations in 17 local communities.

“The change implies that the data for 136 polling stations in 17 basic electoral units where the elections were annulled by the decision of the Central Election Commission of BiH from the 81st session held on December 24, 2025, will be deleted,” the CEC announced earlier.

Other data remain unchanged in relation to the results determined at the 76th session of the Central Election Commission of BiH held on 15 December 2025. year, with a note that the statistics will be changed because there will be missing data for 136 polling stations where the elections were annulled.

“On the day of the new early elections for the president of the Republika Srpska scheduled for Sunday, February 8, 2026, the Central Election Commission will announce the preliminary results of the new early elections for the president of the Republic of Srpska by midnight,” announced the CEC.

By the way, 85,070 voters have the right to vote in the repeated early elections for the president of Republika Srpska. The results of these elections will be announced within seven days from the date of the election.
