The Center that presented the Drones at ZEPS denies they are from China

The Center for Technical and Technological Testing issued a statement regarding the topic of the Tayan and Ban-1 drones, offering the public their side of the story.

Among other things, the center addressed these drones, which were showcased at the Zenica Economic Fair (ZEPS).

“The Tayan and Ban 1 drones were produced in Turkey in collaboration with a prominent company (due to a signed joint cooperation agreement, which includes a confidentiality clause, we are unable to disclose the company’s name), as two prototypes that will be produced in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the future, as stated in the press release. Representatives of the Turkish company presented the products together with us at the ZEPS fair. We also deny that the drones are of Chinese origin or that they can be used for military purposes. The drones were temporarily imported from Turkey for the fair and were immediately returned to Turkey after the event,” they said.

They emphasized that the drones are solely for civilian use and that it is not true that the drones were manufactured in BiH.

“After presenting the products at the ZEPS fair, we were convinced that there is significant demand for such or similar products in fields such as geodesy, forestry, water management, mountain rescue services, etc., which further motivates us to continue. In the article you published today, you also mentioned Minister of Defense Zukan Helez, who has no connection to this project,” they concluded yesterday.
