In March, consumer prices in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina increased by 1.9 percent on average compared to the previous month, according to data from the Bureau of Statistics of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Prices rose in the sections: Transportation by 13.5 percent, Alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 1.0 percent, Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 0.4 percent, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other energy sources, Education and Restaurants and hotels by 0.3 percent each, Health and Recreation and culture by 0.2 percent each, and Communications by 0.1 percent.
Prices fell in the Clothing and Footwear section by 0.8 percent, while in other sections, on average, prices did not change.
In March 2026, compared to the same month in 2025, prices increased by 5.2 percent (annual inflation), according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.
