Both Imports and Exports record Increase in BiH

In the period January-March 2026, exports from BiH amounted to 4.15 billion BAM, which is 0.5 percent more than in the same period in 2025, while imports amounted to 7.25 billion BAM, which is 0.9 percent more than in the same period last year.

According to data from the Agency for Statistics of BiH, the coverage of imports by exports amounted to 57.3 percent, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to 3.1 billion BAM.

Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 643 million BAM, which is 8.7 percent less than in the same period in 2025, while imports amounted to 849 million KM, which is 3.9 percent less than in the same period last year.

The coverage of imports by exports amounted to 75.8 percent.

Exports to EU countries amounted to 3.21 billion BAM, which is 5.7 percent more than in the same period in 2025, while imports amounted to 4.22 billion BAM, which is 0.9 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.

The coverage of imports by exports was 76.0 percent.
