The Citizens’ Association of War Victims declared Lidija Bradara persona non grata

The Association of Citizens of the Victims of the 92-95 War “April 16th” Ahmici published a press release two days ago in which they clearly pointed out that the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), Lidija Bradara, is persona non grata in this place until she withdraws her statements.

“The statement of the president of the FBiH entity to the German public TV service ARD that no one has been prosecuted for the crimes in Trusina against the Bosnian Croats and that this crime is equal to the one in Ahmici, as well as her running away from the truth, is particularly worrying. The lies she told for the German TV company cross the boundaries of humanity and decency. Her statement is inciting and tendentious, especially her avoiding the answer to the question about the criminal Kordic and distancing herself from his role. It is clear that Ms. Bradara is consciously running away from the truth related to the excessive crime in Trusina in relation to the planned, designed, and realized massacre with all the elements of genocide in Ahmici,” the press release states.

It is further stated that the FBiH president Lidija Bradara, as a deliberately ignorant and uninformed person, should read all the verdicts for Trusina and Ahmici, compare the nature of those criminal parts, look at the penological segment of them and only then stand in front of the cameras, because that is the only way, as they say, to save the face of humanity.

“Can such a person lead any processes, let alone those in the FBiH entity where Bosniaks, as victims of genocide and the joint criminal enterprise (JCE), are most concentrated, not by their own will but by the criminal policies of Tudjman and Milosevic, which they implemented through the subject policies of Bosnian Serbs and Bosnian Croats from 1992-1995, and it seems that they are still implementing it today, just in a different form? Of course, she can’t. We note that previously Mrs. Bradara hugged the criminals, after which she justified their policy, indirectly amnestying them from responsibility, which was sufficient reason to deny her support for the election to the position of president of the FBiH entity,” the Association from Ahmici further stated.

“Therefore, until she apologizes for her malicious statements and insults to the victims of the planned, systematically committed, and brutally egalitarian massacre in Ahmici in relation to other convicted criminals whom no Bosniak even imagines glorifying like Kordic, Mrs. Bradara is persona non grata for us. We call on the Office of the High Representative (OHR) to finally react and remove such a person who amnesties the criminal policy of the HDZ and the Croatian Defense Council (HVO) in the 90s from the position of president of the FBiH entity,” reads the end of the statement of the Association from Ahmici.
