The lawsuit by the City of Mostar and the public companies “Komos”, “Parkovi” and “Deponija” sued the Association of Citizens “Because it concerns us”, was unconditionally withdrawn, it was announced from this Association.

At the 10th session of the City Council, a Conclusion was adopted which gives the mayor the authority to conclude an out-of-court settlement with the Association.

“The proposal of the Agreement was that the City will withdraw the lawsuit if the Association agrees not to interfere in any way with the Adaptation Plan adopted by the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism.

“After we refused to agree to such blackmail, talks and meetings with Mayor Kordic followed, which we can now call successful, considering that the lawsuit was withdrawn unconditionally, for which we fought from the very beginning!”, the statement said.

The association states that they warned of the futility of the lawsuit by which the citizens who pointed out the problem and illegal actions were sued.

“The streets of our city were messy and littered with rubbish before the blockade and they still are! We hope that we will not wait this long for the next positive, and useful for the citizens, decision!” it is pointed out in the announcement of the Association “Because it concerns us”.
