The official completion of the development project of the cooperation between the Czech Republic and B&H will be marked by the signing of the Memorandum at the Clinical Center of Sarajevo University today.
The project called “Capacity development in the field of vascular surgery in the selected health institutions of B&H” started in 2012 and included the purchase of medical equipment, instruments and vascular implant and the training of medical staff (doctors and nurses) in the field of modern vascular and endovascular techniques.
The training is conducted in the Czech Republic at the best Czech hospitals. The value of the equipment and the training of the staff was 172.450 Euros. Besides the Clinical Center of Sarajevo University, the Clinical Center of Banja Luka and Foča hospital participated, so the overall value of the project for B&H was 270.000 Euros.
