The Construction of the XII Transversal has begun in Sarajevo

After all necessary approvals and construction permits, construction works on the XII transversal in Sarajevo, the connection from the Stupka interchange to the Sarajevo International Airport, subsections from P61 (km 1+200) to P80 (km 1+580), have officially begun today, the Public Company Roads of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

Earthworks are underway, namely excavations and construction of embankments on a part of the new road, the connection with Aleja Bosne Srebrne street (connection with the future rotor near Bingo).

The contract with the contractor, a consortium of companies Euro-Asfalt d.o.o. and Demus d.o.o. Sarajevo, was signed on 21.10.2025. The contracted value of the works is 6,418,831.43 BAM including VAT.

The supervision of the works will be carried out by a consortium consisting of RADIS d.o.o. Istočno Sarajevo, MIDES d.o.o. Banja Luka and PROJECT BIRO UTIBER d.o.o. Novi Sad. The value of the supervision contract is 69,733.56 BAM including VAT.
