Vlasic Eco Zone vlasic-apartmani.baThe implementation of the project titled “Eco Zone Koricani-Vlasic“, whose total value is estimated to nearly three billion Euros, should begin in spring, at the plateau of Vlasic in the village Koricani, said the director of the company TLG from Travnik Zoran Vujinovic, pointing out that all the consents and permits from the state have been obtained.

The “Eco Zone Koricani-Vlasic” will cover 20 square kilometres, and the project envisages the construction of an educational, health, sports-recreational and tourist centre. The project is currently in the conceptual design phase, i.e. in the phase of creation of project and technical documentation.

According to Vujinovic, the project is based on three foundations: education – the construction of an elite university, health – rehabilitation clinic, and the sports-recreational foundation.

“The first phase of works is to begin in spring, actually we are going to engage in the solving of property and legal issues and the construction of the first lakes“, said Vujinovic, who also commented on the comparison of this project with “Belgrade on Water”, emphasizing that similarities do exist, but that this BH project will be much better.

Within the “Eco Zone”, the project located at the border of the two entities, the construction of an airport, golf course, luxury villas, rehabilitation clinic, artificial lake, aqua park, educational centre, multiplex building with apartments and offices is foreseen.

“The direct and indirect benefits from the realization of this project are enormous. Directly, 50.000 workplaces are planned, indirectly two times more-in secondary and tertiary sectors“, stated Vujinovic.

The construction of two stadiums – indoor and outdoor – is also planned, as well as the construction of the field, pool and everything necessary for the preparation of top sportsmen.

The project should be completely finished in 10 to 15 years.
