The UN Human Rights Council adopted 196 recommendations for BiH proposed by 65 countries, the largest number of which relate to the implementation of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, the right to education, and the issue of gender equality, especially greater participation of women in legislative and executive bodies of government, and the rights of members of the LGBTI population.

The session of the UN Human Rights Council at which the recommendations for the Universal Periodic Review of the human rights situation in BiH were adopted was also attended by Rejhana Dervišević, a member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

On the sidelines of this meeting, Dervišević also met with the President of the UN Human Rights Council Jürg Lauber.

The session of the UN Human Rights Council, together with members of the BiH delegation, was also attended by the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva, Bojan Vujić, the Public Relations Department of the BiH PA announced.
