The countdown to the performance of the group “The Prodigy” has entered the very end. Stadium Grbavica is intensively preparing for August 13, and Sarajevo is ready to welcome thousands of visitors from all over the region and Europe and is preparing for a night that will remain inscribed in the history of this city.
Field work has officially begun at Grbavica Stadium. Production teams, massive construction, tons of equipment, lighting and sound systems entered the field to build a stage worthy of the demands of a world-class production.
The full program for August 13 has been revealed
The audience can expect a six-hour program carefully built to keep the tension and energy at a maximum from the moment the stadium gates open until the very end and the last beat.
Opening the night is KOIKOI, one of the most exciting and energetic new bands in the region. The baton is then taken over by Helem Nejse, a local force from the street, known for uncompromisingly keeping the audience in suspense from the first to the last second. As a perfect prelude to the main event, the favorites of the regional audience, After Affair, come with a special, exclusive techno set.
Revolutionaries of the music scene for the first time in Sarajevo
What The Prodigy did for modern music history cannot be measured by standard standards. They did not follow trends, but invented a sound that did not exist until then. Breakbeat collided with punk, industrial and hip-hop. They created a movement that broke down the boundaries between genres of music forever. That is why they are the foundation and the eternal role model. From live bands to the world’s leading DJs, they all carry a part of The Prodigy DNA in their roots.
Liam Howlett and Maxim bring to Sarajevo an energy that cannot be described in words or conveyed through the screen. It is a sonic boom that must be experienced live: with body, bones and every heartbeat. The arrival of such a force at Grbavica Stadium, a place that itself was built and preserved on the defiance and strength of the community, is no ordinary concert. This is a historic meeting of two identical energies.
SARAJEVO IS READY: The countdown has begun
Production work is in full swing, teams on the ground are working non-stop, and the organization is behind every detail to ensure safety, sound and the overall audience experience during these 6 hours are at the highest level.
