At today’s session, the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health proposed the extension of current epidemiological measures in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to the FBiH Public Health Institute, the seven-day incidence continues to rise, reaching 77.2 cases / 100,000 inhabitants in the FBiH.

Significant increases in the number of patients were recorded in three cantons – Herzegovina-Neretva /296/100.000/, West-Herzegovina / 192 / 100,000 / and Livno Canton / 164 / 100,000 /.

In the last seven days, there has been an increase in all indicators – the number of hospitalized, the number of patients on invasive mechanical ventilation, and deaths, the Federal Ministry of Health announced.

The Crisis Staff will monitor the epidemiological situation and accordingly consider introducing measures that would prohibit entry into public facilities without confirmation of vaccination status, negative PCR or antigen test or confirmation of surviving Covid 19.

Given the worsening epidemiological situation, the Crisis Staff called on the citizens to respect all the prescribed protection measures, and to get vaccinated, Srna news agency reports.
