The Delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Turkey began Official Visit in BiH

The delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Turkey, led by Minister Hulusi Akar, began today with an official visit to the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Turkish delegation was solemnly welcomed in the building of the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Turkish Defense Minister Akar will also meet with members of the BiH Presidency, and visit the LOT house of the Turkish Military Mission in Zenica, as well as Turkish soldiers at the Butmir base near Sarajevo.

This morning, Akar and his delegation visited the Kovaci Martyrs’ Cemetery in Sarajevo and laid flowers at the grave of the first President of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegovic.

After visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Turkish Minister of Defense will pay a visit to Kosovo.
