Federal Minister of Environment and Tourism Nasiha Pozder, in a meeting with Acting Director of the Una National Park Alen Zulić, discussed activities and projects aimed at further development, protection and improvement of the infrastructure of this national park.

In the past 17 years, the Government of the Federation has invested about 10 and a half million marks, of which as much as 3.25 million were realized during the mandate of Minister Pozder, which indicates a significant intensity of investment.

“Financial and technical support was provided for the preparation of the geodetic foundations necessary for the preparation of detailed plans for the Una National Park, which, unfortunately, has not been done since the Park was founded, at least not with the dynamics that were needed. In 2025, the Una National Park had 182,200 visits, which is a record. I believe that by adopting systemic planning documents and implementing capital projects, we will be able to preserve and further valorize Una as one of our most valuable natural destinations.” Pozder stated.

“In 2025, the multi-year problems of road communication and access to the Una National Park were solved through the completion of infrastructure works and asphalting of the access roads to the Štrbacki buk and Martin Brod visitor zones, for which the Government of the Federation of BiH, through the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, provided financial resources in the amount of two million BAM.

With the help of this Ministry, the process of creating the Management Plan for the Una National Park 2026-2035, whose adoption is expected by the Government of the Federation of BiH, has been brought to an end,” said Zulic.
