The representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina trained today in Salt Lake City as part of the preparations for the round of 16 match of the World Cup with the USA.
During the training session, National Football Federation of BiH president Vico Zeljković also provided support to the coaching staff and players.
Before the training session, representatives of the national team, Armin Gigović and Denis Hadžikadunić, addressed the media.
Gigović stated, among other things:
“It’s a very good feeling to qualify for the next stage of this competition. We had some time to rest and now we are focusing on the game against America as much as possible. Of course, our goal is to win. It won’t be easy, they did a good job in the group stage, but we are ready too,” said Gigović.
Hadžikadunić said:
“The situation is excellent. We beat Qatar and secured a place among the 32 best national teams. We are all happy that we passed the group stage. Now comes the game in which you either win or be eliminated. We will give 100 percent of ourselves to win,” said Hadžikadunić.
The USA – BiH match will be played on Wednesday night at 2 am CET.
