The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team recorded their second win in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, defeating Cyprus 2-1 at Bilino Polje. With this triumph, the Dragons took the lead in Group H with six points from two matches.

Bosnia and Herzegovina took the lead in the 22nd minute when Ermedin Demirović capitalized on a great free kick by Haris Hajradinović. Cyprus managed to equalize in first-half stoppage time through Jonis Pitas, who capitalized on a rebound from a Kousoulos shot.

Sergej Barbarez made a double substitution in the second half, and in the 57th minute, Hajradinović scored to give BiH a new lead. The Dragons had several more chances until the end of the match, including a goal that was disallowed for offside and a shot by Radeljić that hit the post, but the score remained 2-1.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will welcome San Marino in the next round, while Cyprus is visiting Romania.
