The Driver in Sarajevo forcibly threw an Elderly Woman off the Bus

After the Centrotrans bus driver pushed an old woman off the bus near the City Hall in Sarajevo two days ago, causing her to fall to the floor, the company announced that the driver had been suspended and would be fired.

A video shows the driver who, after a brief discussion, throws the elderly woman off the bus, causing her to fall to the floor.

Centrotrans stated that they deeply regret that this shameful act, unprofessional and unacceptable attitude towards the passenger, was the work of their employee.

“Upon learning of the unpleasant incident, the driver was immediately suspended and proceedings were initiated against him, which included the termination of the employment contract. On this occasion, we apologize to our passenger and the citizens of Canton Sarajevo (CS) who use our transportation services. It is certain that there is no justification for this behavior of our driver, and we will do everything to ensure that such or similar actions never happen again,” Centrotrans stated.

They add that they invest significant resources and time in the education of employees and the application of defined rules in the behavior of bus drivers and other employees when performing an extremely responsible job – the provision of public passenger transport services.

“Unfortunately, despite everything that has been done, there is a case where an individual, by his actions, damages the image and relationship built over the years towards the users of our services, and in this way diminishes the contribution of all Centrotrans employees in providing quality transportation in the area of CS. We would like to inform our valued passengers that this isolated case has been condemned by all employees, especially the bus drivers and that they will do everything to provide passengers with the highest quality and comfortable ride on Centrotrans buses, as before,” the company concluded.
