The Driver who killed a Woman Pedestrian in Sarajevo with his Car was arrested

The Sarajevo police arrested the driver who killed a 73-year-old woman from Ilijaš with his car today.

The fatal victim is a woman whose initials are H.S. from Ilijaš, and the driver E.Č. was arrested on suspicion of having committed a serious crime against the safety of public transport, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton announced.

A breathalyzer test determined that he was not driving under the influence of alcohol.

The police, under the supervision of the prosecutor, continue to work on this case.

The accident happened in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Mojmilo at around 10:20 a.m., and the ambulance pronounced the woman dead on the spot.
