Aimed to celebrate friendship and to enhance interaction as well as people to people contact, Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Sarajevo will host Indonesia Weekend Festival from 27-29 June 2024. The Festival will be held at the courtyard of Aria Mall, at Trg Djece, Sarajeva 1, starting from 10.00 AM to 08.00 PM and it will be free admissions.
The festival will feature art and cultural performances, interactive games, authentic Indonesian cuisine, handicraft, promotion of Indonesian consumer products and tourism destinations. The Festival will also feature sampling of Indonesian popular products such as confectionaries, biscuit made from coffee and instant noodle from Indomie.
The Indonesian famous coffee will also make its way during the event to add more festivity to the occasion.
During the course of Indonesia Weekend, The Embassy will also feature “Sarajevo Coffee Festival 2024”, and invite the visitors to taste the freshly made coffee prepared by a Bosnian coffee roaster.
The Embassy wishes that the event will increase people’s awareness and knowledge about Indonesia and its potential. There will be sessions during the festival that will invite the audience from public to interact and get accustomed to Indonesian traditional games, experiencing and enjoying Indonesian art and cultural performances as well enjoying Indonesian authentic culinary.
The Festival is the reflection of goodwill from Indonesian national to draw closer ties with the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Indonesian Embassy in Sarajevo regard it as objective and make Indonesia Weekend Festival as an annual program.
As the relation of the two countries will be portrayed by the friendship of its people, The Embassy fervently hopes that the event will serve to nurture and foster people interaction.
