At the suggestion of the Civil Protection Headquarters of the City of Livno, Livno Mayor Darko Čondrić made a decision on Monday declaring the end of the state of natural disaster caused by floods caused by heavy rainfall.

Namely, heavy rainfall affected the mentioned areas in the time period from May 16 to 18, 2023 and caused damage to agricultural crops.

In the past period, the Commission for the Assessment of Damages from Natural and Other Disasters of the City of Livno performed all the tasks assigned to it by the Regulation on the Uniform Methodology for the Assessment of Damages from Natural and Other Disasters, as well as by the Decision on the Establishment and Appointment of the Commission and the Rulebook on Procedures, Conditions, Criteria and priorities for repairing damage caused by natural and other disasters in the area of the city of Livno, placed in charge.

Also, in order to implement protection and rescue measures in the threatened area, all city services, public companies and institutions were tasked to make themselves available to the Civil Protection Headquarters of the City of Livno and, in accordance with their powers, undertook the necessary measures in order to remedy the consequences caused by the natural disaster.
