At the last session, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Annual Report of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2022.
During 2022, the CBBH successfully maintained the country’s monetary stability and made the best contribution to financial stability in BiH. It fulfilled its legal mandate consistently, implementing the monetary policy model – the currency board, the Bank announced.
As a result of the overall financial operations of the CBBH, in 2022, it made a profit in the amount of 25.9 million BAM, while for the period January 1 – April 30, 2023, the realized profit was 62.2 million BAM.
Total capital and reserves at the end of 2022 amounted to 545.4 million BAM. Capital and reserves continued to grow in 2023 and on May 31, 2023 they exceeded the amount of 680 million BAM.
