The Epilogue of the Storm in Tuzla Canton: Traffic Colapse, Damage on Buildings

tuzlaAfter a one-hour storm accompanied by hail, wind and torrential rain, the traffic in Tuzla is being conducted with difficulties, while the damages on crops, cars and residential buildings are being evidented.

It was announced from the Civil Protection of the City of Tuzla that the local creek in the suburban neighborhood Dobrnja poured over and threatens to flood the facilities in the close vicinity.

The traffic at the section of the northern junction at the locality of Panonska lakes is completely suspended due to the water flooding under the overpass.

Also, the traffic is being conducted with difficulties at the intersections near the Cultural Sports Business Center Mejdan, in the neighborhoods of Sjenjak and Solana near the Shopping Mall Robot, and the drivers are using sidewalks and other surface areas to bypass enormous amounts of water.

tuzla2As stated in the Civil Protection, more precise information on the caused damage will be available in the morning, since the competent teams are on the field, eliminating the consequences of the storm.
