Commission that Preserves National Monuments in B&H in cooperation with the Regional Museum of Travnik organize an exhibition of national monuments board “Cultural Memory – The Treasure that is Vanishing” which will be set on 29th August until 10th September.
The opening of the exhibition at the Heritage Museum in Travnik has been scheduled for tomorrow at 19 pm.
“Exhibition “Cultural Memory – Treasure that is Vanishing” will be organized in the framework of the campaign with the same name from 2003 until now, segments of this exhibitions has been presented in the United States, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Serbia, and in many cities, municipalities and regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, states the Commission.
The exhibition in Travnik is the first in a planned series of exhibitions for the central region. The exhibition consists of photographs, texts, projects, drawings and other relevant information that describe each National Monument, which makes only a part of monumental treasures which abounds in B&H.
The chosen monuments include the cemetery tombstones, ancient basilicas, monasteries, historical and archaeological sites, mosques, churches, Tekije, cathedrals, ancient cities ….
The selected monuments of the cycle Central-Bosnian region include monuments from the area of Travnik, Bugojno, Busovača, Doboj Jug, Donji Vakuf, Gornji Vakuf – Uskoplje, Kakanj, Maglaj, Novi Travnik, Teslić, Tešanj, Travnik, Usora, Vitez, Zavidović, Zenica, Žepče, Doboj.
