The 14th edition of the Fair of Economy Tesanj 2018 was officially opened by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdic, the Ambassador of Italy to BiH, Nicola Minasi and the President of the Association of businessmen “Business Center” Jelah-Tesanj, Senad Brka.

A total of 200 exhibitors from seven countries will take part in this fair, and the partner country is Italy.

At the opening ceremony, Chairman Zvizdic stated that the record number of this year’s exhibitors proves that the organizers of the fair achieved their goal and that the fair in Tesanj became a recognizable and prestigious business event.

“The improvement of BH economy is one of the most important goals of the government in BiH, and the main focus of the Council of Ministers has been on the promotion of our economy, strengthening of financial discipline, better structure of public expenditure, improvement of business environment and greater competitiveness of BH economy, which resulted in the improvement of some of the key economic parameters,” stated Zvizdic.

Ambassador Minasi noted that he made the right decision when he accepted the offer for Italy to be the partner country of the fair and that he is very proud of Italian companies that took part in this fair.

He also noted that trade exchange between the two countries amounted to about 1.5 billion EUR, and that there are more than 70 Italian companies operating in BiH, which directly employ more than 10,000 workers.

The fair will take place until May 13, and numerous panel discussions, thematic lectures, presentations and B2B meetings will take place in that period. They should contribute to development of further business connections and exchange of experiences, information and good practices among the participants.
