The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an orange warning due to southerly winds.
The warning was issued for the entire area of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the period February 23 (06:00) to February 24 (10:00).
Gusts of southerly winds of 40-60, on plateaus and mountains of 60 to 80 kilometers per hour are expected.
“Recommendations, measures, according to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO): Be prepared for disturbances, structural damage and the risk of injury from uprooted trees and debris carried by the wind. Interruptions in the supply of electricity are possible. For any additional information, contact the competent institutions” , it was announced from the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
