The Firecracker was not directed towards the vehicles of the Armed Forces of B&H

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe firecracker was not thrown on the vehicle of the Chief of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of B&H Anto Jeleč, but the vehicle of Jeleč was accidentally at that place in that moment, confirmed the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Mostar.

A real drama took place on Friday night in the tunnel Salakovac near Mostar, after it was published that an explosive device was activated near the vehicle of the Chief of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of B&H Anto Jeleč, and luckily no one was injured.

The incident was reported to the police by Jeleč himself. The matter seemed more serious because two soldiers of the Armed Forces of B&H were killed in Sarajevo only two days ago.

The investigation in the case of Jeleč showed that no one tried to kill or frighten the General. A 26-year-old man confessed to the investigators in Mostar that he activated the firecracker near the tunnel, but that he did not think that it will scare anyone, since he was sure that his colleagues were the only persons on the road in that moment, besides him.
