The first Fashion House in Bosnia and Herzegovina is going bankrupt

The Commercial District Court in Banja Luka initiated pre-bankruptcy proceedings in the first domestic fashion house “Carmen – Line” from Laktasi.

The request to initiate a bankruptcy was submitted by the company’s legal representatives, who stated that they have been operating at a loss for the past few years, which is why they made the decision to stop working.

They stated that they do not own any movable or immovable property and that they do not have any employees. There are still unpaid obligations to some companies, but not to the employees.

“Based on an inspection of the attached documentation, the court determined that the petitioner made the debtor’s inability to pay likely, which fulfilled the conditions for initiating the preliminary procedure for opening bankruptcy,” the explanation reads.

Andreja Trisic was appointed as the temporary bankruptcy trustee, and the further course of the proceedings will depend on her report.

Namely, the downfall of this fashion house started with the death of its founder Zorislav Stojic. His wife Plamenka took over the business with other family members, but it is obvious that this loss was the beginning of the end, Biznis Info reports.
