The first Hot Air Balloon Flight in Sarajevo will be available on Friday

The official promotion of the project “Enjoy Sarajevo – Romanija Region”, within which the first flight with a tourist balloon will take place, will be held on Friday, June 18th in the sports and recreation center Brus on Trebevic.

This is one of the activities within the “Enjoy Sarajevo-Romanija Region” project, which aims to develop tourism in this region through the establishment of new tourism products and their promotion on the international market.

The focus will be on equipping outdoor locations, as well as strengthening the capacity of micro, small, and medium enterprises within the tourism and the internationalization of their tourist offer.

“Enjoy Sarajevo-Romania Region” project within the EU4Business project is implemented by the Tourist Organization of Jahorina, the City Development Agency of East Sarajevo, the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska (RS), and the business entity Stanisic.

EU4Business is a project of the European Union (EU) which, intending to strengthen the economy of BiH, encourages the development of targeted sectors. Its total value is 16.1 million euros, and it is jointly financed by the EU (with 15 million euros) and the Federal Republic of Germany (with 1.1 million euros). It is being implemented jointly by the German development agency (GIZ), the International Labour Organization (ILO), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), from April 2018 to March 2022, Klix.ba writes.
