The first Man of the FBI: An Attack like the one in Moscow can also happen in America

The American FBI has expressed concern about the possibility of organizing a terrorist attack in the United States similar to the one organized by members of ISIL in Moscow.

The director of the agency, Christopher Wray, addressed the representatives in the US House of Representatives today, where he spoke about the security situation and assessments of security and other services.

“Looking back over my career in law enforcement, I would be hard-pressed to think of a time where there were so many threats to our public and national security. That is exactly the case as I sit here,” Wray said.

In his speech, Wray said the FBI is increasingly concerned about the possibility of a coordinated attack in the US after the massacre in the Russian capital.

“The FBI has opened 4,000 international terrorism investigations at the end of fiscal year 2023. The potential for a coordinated attack here at home, similar to the one carried out by ISIL at the mall and ballroom in Moscow, is a growing concern,” he said, Klix.ba reports.
