The Informative forum for consultations with civil society on necessity of planning the pre-accession Assistance IPA II (2014-2020) will be held today at the B&H Parliamentary Assembly. The relevant news on the consultations with civil society on the programming of IPA II will be presented at the Forum.
The aim of the event is to initiate the establishment of institutional mechanisms for consultation with civil society organizations in the context of IPA II.
The obligation of the beneficiary countries of IPA II is to consult with civil society when they are planning the use of pre-accession assistance for the period 2014-2020. Therefore, the need for institutional mechanisms for consultation with civil society organizations emerges.
EU has supported this process through two projects: CBGI (Strengthening of the government institutions capacity to dialogue with civil society organizations) and TASCO (Technical Assistance for Civil Society Organizations).
The Forum is organized by the State Coordinator of IPA supported by TACSO and CBGI projects.
