The 8th Human Rights Film Festival continues tonight, where will be screened 15 films in five selections- the competition program extra muros, art&doc, re:versus, short kung-fu and retrospective “Marking the scars as in the film revolution” are dedicated to the film collectives.
Cinema Meeting Point, Art Cinema Kriterion and the Sarajevo War Theater will host young authors from whole world.
The selection re:versus will show one of the most outstanding films of this year’s festival “Sleepless Nights” of the Palestinian artist Eliane Raheb. This film revives the old wounds of war and questions whether the forgiveness is possible. The screening will be held at 20:15 and the audience will have the opportunity to speak to the author after the film.
The other film of this selection is “Belleville Baby” of the Swedish author Mia Engbergl, which will be screened at the Art Cinema Kriterion at the 22:15.
The competition program extra muros will have three films: “Tzvetanka” of the Bulgarian author Youlian Tabakov, “Zatočeništvo” of Andrea Gil Matea from Portugal and “Helio Oiticica” of Cesar Oiticic Filh from Brasil. All the movies will be shown at the Art Cinema Meeting point, at 18:15, 20:15 and 22:15.
